Managing Director Dr. Joseph Guan, M.M Ed., Ph.D 

EXECUTIVE PROFILE 

Joseph Guan holds a Ph.D. in Education from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, USA and a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The topic of his Ph.D. dissertation was on learning strategies. 

He has been a secondary school teacher for twelve years and a school administrator for nine years and has also taught at university level. 

He has been involved in training for the last fifteen years, specialising in the areas of emotional intelligence, stress management, learning strategies, personal effectiveness, team building, speed reading, time management and creative thinking skills. 

He is an international corporate trainer who has conducted workshops/seminars in the United States, Guatemala, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India and Singapore. He has presented international papers on educational and human development in Rome, United States and India. 

He has vast experience in the area of counselling, therapy and executive coaching. 

He is the Regional Coordinator (Pacific Rim/Australia) of the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology and was recently conferred the World Outreach Award by the Association at the International Conference held in May 2003, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
